The caregiver lives on site and is responsible for supporting and assisting the residents of Sunshine House 5 days per week (including nights), with every aspect of their daily and domestic lives. This means to ensure the comfort and safety of the residents by offering them love, support and quality time. The caregiver must also ensure their emotional and physical well-being and promote their social integration (not only within the residence and with the other residents but also in the community).
The caregiver creates a family style living environment by; spending the day with the residents, preparing their meals, sharing meals with them and creating activities for and with them. As well, the directives given by the intervenors of the CIUSSSE must be followed at all times.

Exigences et conditions
The candidate is possible for supporting and assisting the four residents in all aspects of their daily and domestic lives:
• English fluency
• Ensure the comfort, safety and well-being of residents
• Perform all daily household chores: shopping for, preparing and sharing meals, keeping a clean and tidy house, doing laundry
• Provide and/or oversee food personal hygiene for the residents
• Facilitate activities (a handicapped van is available on site for our outings)
• Manage the budget allocated to food and household expenses
• Manage the residence budget for their personal expenses
• Collaborate with the rest bite person to ensure that a caregiver is present at all times
• Collaborate with the manager, the families in various counsellors
• Inform the manager of issues concerning the building
