THE MAIN RESPONSIBLITIES FOR THIS POSITION ARE:

Working with various cross-functional teams to develop requirements for new Battery System features, diagnostics, algorithms, etc.

Developing system level and sub-system level requirements and specification documents working with the optical, electrical and mechanical design teams.

Leading design verification activities Writing proposals and white papers. Providing technical support to business development activities, including customer briefings and conference presentations, technical readiness and risk analysis assessments.

Working closely with the Hardware and Mechanical engineering teams for the battery pack development requirements, tracking and management.

Working closely with the V&V teams to guarantee the test and validation processes occur according to specifications and are on-time.

Processing the development of functional safety-specific features and functions.

Communicating with engineers to update/modify documentation to maintain accurate representation of deliverables.

Contributing to the overall system architecture.

Supporting the development of series production processes and process standardization across departments.

Working on ad hoc related tasks or projects provided by management.

Working with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the relevant subsystems are designed with appropriate requirements. Working closely with product design, quality, and manufacturing engineers, and the production team to ensure that the system supports all critical objectives for BRP.

Assessing, designing and integrating battery software systems to vehicles and related systems to balance out performance, reliability, cost and weight requirements.

Exigences et conditions

-You have experience using system level simulation tools, such as MATLAB and experience using requirement management tools, such as DOORS.
-You are skilled at working in a multidisciplinary environment.
-You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a similar field and have at least 8 years experience:
-You have experience with Model Based Systems Engineering and SysML.
-You have experience with IBM DOORS/ELM or other requirement management tools.
-You are familiar with Agile development of integrated systems (mechanical, electrical and software).
-You can demonstrate strong interest in driving and designing recreational & performance vehicles.
-You have strong communication skills, a proactive and solution-oriented way of working and the willingness to familiarize yourself with new technologies & development tools.
-You are fluent in English and have good presentation and writing skills.
-You have knowledge of automotive standards such as ISO 26262, IATF 16494, AEC-Q100, APQP, PPAP. Knowledge of wireless and wired communication protocols would be an asset.
-You have the ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
-You are creative and have the ability to innovate.
