As an Treasury Manager you would be focused on the management of a global cash management, as well as support Enterprise Risk Management initiatives. You will collaborate with partners within and outside the organization to create, change, garner efficiency and build a process. The key responsibility for this role is end-to-end cash management, ensuring the entire organization is adequately funded, hedged for risk, and meets its cash targets.
What does your typical day look like?
Optimize cash management function in a global multi-currency environment;
Participate in cash management structures and cash forecasting strategies through coordination with various departments (tax, legal and finance teams)
Manage foreign currency risks related to cash management activities;
Support negotiations with financing partners in liaison with the CFO and the SVP M&A
Manage net debt and production of cash forecasts with explanations of variances to budget

Exigences et conditions
What skills and experience are we looking for?
Able to come into Sherbrooke or Montreal office on a regular basis;
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or in a related field; Master’s degree an asset. Professional accounting designation and/or CFA designation is an asset;
Minimum of 7 years’ progressive and relevant treasury experience.
Experience of treasury accounting including FX, liquidity, cashflow and various financial instruments.
Extensive experience dealing with Senior Executives and Board Members, an asset
Strong understanding of financial markets, financial instruments, and debt instruments.
Knowledge of banking relationships, an asset
Experience working for a complex multi-entity corporation with operations across Canada and the US; experience remotely building working relationships with colleagues, bankers, and other stakeholders across multiple geographies, an asset
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
