Position Purpose and Description 

As an HR Business Partner & Project Support you will work closely with assigned local clients and become a trusted advisor to leaders on people related matters including, performance management, compensation, succession planning, employee relations, change management, etc. You will also work closely with Senior HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Expertise (COE) to address specific client needs.  

A key responsibility of this role involves providing HR project support /or leading HR initiatives and projects that support business needs in collaboration with all impacted stakeholders to ensure a high level of change adoption.

HR BUSINESS PARTNERING 



Trusted Advisor



Provide guidance, coaching and consultation to leaders on HR and organizational development related matters e.g., legal/procedural compliance, workforce planning, talent and performance management, succession planning, employee development, employee relations, employee termination and compensation.  
Work closely with leaders to improve employee work experience, reinforce engagement, increase productivity and retention. 



Compliance



Ensure all administrative and transactional work associated with supporting the business is completed in a timely fashion.  
Revise contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers within predefined parameters and ensure escalation at the right level as needed. 



Change Agent



Implement HR related projects in line with corporate priorities in collaboration with the Senior HRBPs and HR Centers of Expertise. 
Assists in identifying opportunities for improvement and resolving problems. 











HR PROJECTS AND INITIATIVES



Contribute to strategic HR projects related to employee experience, internal communication, learning and development, and other employee management processes, partnering with the project leader from the different HR Centers of Expertise or other HRBPs. 
Lead the design, development and deployment of HR initiatives including needs analysis, detailed project plan, required resources, timeline, change management activities and financial aspects. 
Manage implementation including communication and support to HRBPs, users and leaders. 
Advise and support on HR operations and services working closely with other HR colleagues in various HR areas.

Human resources policies, regulations, procedures, and legislative provisions governing recruitment, employment equity, labor law, and compensation.

Ability to communicate and deliver information in visual, oral and written form in a clear, concise manner.

Exigences et conditions

Requirements and Qualifications 

University degree in Human Resources or related field. 
7 years of relevant experience as HR generalist. 
3-5 years of experience in leading projects. 
Bilingual English and French; oral and written.
