Reporting to: Director of Corporate Services Hours of work: 35-40 hours per week, with flexibility to work weekends.

Description of the Role The Business Office Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the Business Office to ensure that all administrative activities and tasks are completed with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. As the Business Office is often the first point of contact for visitors to Grace Village, you will be responsible for ensuring a courteous and professional reception, the provision of information and direction to visitors, while administering COVID screening requirements as per applicable guidelines related to the pandemic. The Business Office Coordinator engages with all departments as part of both resident and employee processes, providing excellent customer service while demonstrating an empathetic manner. You will respond to resident, family, and employee inquiries in person, by phone and by e-mail, relaying calls and messages to the appropriate personnel, as well as support the administration team by performing various administrative tasks.

Exigences et conditions

Requirements, Skills and Abilities

• DVS in secretarial studies would be considered an asset
• A minimum of 2 years work experience in a related role
• Verbal and written (English 8/10 & French 8/10) communication skills required
• A high degree of initiative and a strong customer service orientation
• Personable, approachable, empathetic and positive
• Ability to communicate effectively with others, as well as strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, particularly in matters related to resident or employee information
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented and ability to work independently
• Proficiency with computer applications including MS Office and Outlook
• Proven ability to collaborate and work in teams
