The Department of Politics and International Studies at Bishop’s University (Sherbrooke, Quebec) invites applications for a tenure–track position in Canadian Politics at the Assistant Professor level starting July 1, 2021.
Demonstrated ability to teach Research Methods or Public Policy/Administration will be considered as an asset. Applicants should have completed a PhD and clear expertise in these fields.
Bishop’s is a small Liberal Arts University located on a beautiful campus in the scenic Eastern Townships of Quebec. It has a student body of 2500 full-time students. The candidates must show strong potential for teaching, research and scholarship consistent with the mission of the University. High quality publications and the potential for obtaining research funding are important, but must be combined with a demonstrated commitment to teaching at the undergraduate level.
